About

The Saskia Says Tri Beginner Triathlon Event will take place at Commonwealth Pool in Victoria, BC on Sunday June 4th, 2023. The pool is one of Victoria's best loved recreation centres and houses many local and provincial swim meets. It is located minutes from Elk/Beaver Lake.

The event starts at 7am with the swim leg. Each participant will be organized into their estimated time slot they provided at registration. Swimmers will swim up and down each lane until the distance has been complete. From there the participant will exit the pool and safely make their way to transition.

The transition for the event will be in the south parking lot of the pool. Once in transition, participants will get ready to move on to the bike course. Ensure that helmets are on and fastened before exiting transition. Participants then make their way
out past the mount line and start ridin
g.

When back from the bike leg and in transition for the second time, participants will prepare themselves for the final leg of the event, the run. It will be a bit of a hilly 4km run but all it takes is a little mind over matter and any pace you want to get you to the
finish line where friends and family will be cheering you on!
